Education & Research
Education underpins much of the Wolfson Foundation's funding across the different programme areas. Within the arts and humanities, we award occasional capital grants to research intensive universities. These largely focus on libraries and lecture theatres.
We fund organisations demonstrating excellence with the aim of producing the following outcomes:
- Improved educational provision through new capital infrastructure and the effective use of technology and equipment
- Better engagement by educational institutions with the wider public

You can apply for funding for an education project within the 'Arts and Humanities' theme via the link to the right.
In addition, we have a number of targeted, closed programmes providing funding for higher education research within the arts and humanities, including postgraduate scholarships, and research professorships. We also fund music education at specialist music colleges.
