Greenhead College, a high-achieving Sixth Form College in Huddersfield, received a grant of £100,000 in 2012 which enabled them to refurbish three chemistry laboratories and two technicians rooms.

This improvement was desperately needed. The College has approximately 400 students taking Physics and over 1,400 studying Biology or Chemistry, making it one of the biggest A-Level Science departments in the country.

The grant was made under the Foundation's education programme which recognises excellence in secondary schools and sixth form colleges. It aims to help provide access to high quality facilities for children from all backgrounds.
